AGLOCO ViewCar Set For Release!
I’m hearing reports and rumors that AGLOCO is finding the Viewbar too difficult to make and is considering other options. An avid reader sent me this breaking news that was supposedly found in a hidden part of AGLOCO’s server:
The ViewCarâ„¢ is a small LED display that rests on your car door while you drive. The ViewCarâ„¢ software is what enables AGLOCO to collect the money you are earning while driving. The ViewCarâ„¢ keeps track of your driving interests and preferences, and uses that information to deliver the most valuable message at the right time. Because privacy is a core principle of AGLOCO, the ViewCarâ„¢ communicates via satellite with our secure servers in an encrypted fashion to keep your information private.
Some people have asked: “Is the ViewCar™ some kind of ‘carjacker’?†The answer is simple: The ViewCar™ is the opposite of a carjacker. A carjacker enters your car without your permission, it steals your private information, and it’s nearly impossible to remove. Unlike carjackers, the ViewCar™ is completely permission based, it keeps your information private, and you can always turn it off with a single beep of your horn. The AGLOCO ViewCar™ (currently in limited beta) is shown below:

NOTE: The AGLOCO ViewCarâ„¢ is currently in limited beta testing and is not yet available for use. We expect that it will start to be available to use in several weeks, months, years the future.

Amazing….LMAO!!!
I never knew you were this good in humour too!
The finishing words of your last post about Agloco…
Please let this be the last AGLOCO post on this site!
No they are not leaving you!
by Ramanujam
Thank you Ramanujam! As much as I’d like to be finished with AGLOCO, there’s too much to write about them to be finished just yet!

Another AGLOCO bashing!!
This one is damn creative.

It’s to bad April fools day has passed
P.S. Sorry for my last comment on your earnings report, It seems I screwed up..

AGLOCO continues to sound more and more ridiculous and it reminds me of a Ponzi scheme. This post of yours has me looking at the date to see if it is April 1. Nope. I’ll pinch myself…ouch! If this materializes, we have to be near the end of the web 2.0 bubble.

Haha! Brilliant! Had me going there for a while!

Haa haa, this is a pretty good one. The very first time I ever found your bog was by following up on one of your original “they won’t make money” posts, Kumiko … and guess what … months later they still aren’t.
It is a good subject to keep people informed on because the part that has amazed me most is the gullibility (more politely, extreme innocence) of the folks who hav ebought into this scheme, hook, line and sinker.
AGLOCO is an advertising agency, run by a couple Internet “schemers”, including at least one lawyer, based in Florida, USA. They are incorporated in Hong Kong (likely because the truth in advertising and disclosure laws are more leinient, and they don’t have to abide by US consumer laws).
It is apparent they can’t get inventory (ads to sell), but think about this … every Internet Marketing guru always rants on about “building a mailing list” of people who have given permission to get marketing mails from you … well AGLOCO now has one of the world’s largest … hundreds of thousands of folks who can be legally bombarded with marketing emails because they all signed up for it … could this be the real reason for AGLOCO to begin with?

Dave - Hi! I’ve been thinking a lot about their mailing list recently and I think you’re right. I’d never thought about them not actually being able to get advertisers…that would be hilarious!
They’re such a joke!

Haha, yeah, this would’ve been perfect for April Fools. I love tongue-in-cheek stuff.

Oh wow this is too cute! I’ve been seeing and hearing about you everywhere Kumiko, and for some reason I just decided to stop by and read up tonight just before I go to bed. I’m glad I did. I read two of your related posts about AGLOCO. Wow… I never really thought about all of that stuff. I wonder if my four referrals are enough to make me a dollar… Hehehe… anyway. Great blog Kumiko. I bookmarked you and will definitely be checking in regularly now. Good luck in everything you do. =]

Kelvin - Just 11 more months until the next april’s fool!

Heheh, funny stuff Kumiko.
Actually that seems like a road somebody might actually take in advertising. Get paid to have an LCD panel on your car show ads to passerbys. O_o’
I hope AGLOCO doesn’t look into doing that just yet though.

I’m glad you are as confident that AGLOCO isn’t just building the world’s largest opt in list, Jason. You may be right, but then again I may be right because there are virtually no facts to go on … see Kumiko’s later post and the impressive comment from John Chow which I had missed because I don’t read AGLOCO’s blog.
The point is, they (AGLOCO) are hiding their ownership, corporate structure and hiding from consumer protection laws with their foreign registration and bogus claims … like, “You’ll own a share”. Make _that_ comment in the US and you’ll run afoul of the rigid SEC regulations about issuing a false prospectus, but incorporate in the People’s Republic of China and you don’t have to abide by the rules.
I wish all you AGLOCO “evangelists” the very best but I really hope you know with whom you are playing poker.akx
