If you’re not thinking about the money….what are you thinking about?

When you go to bed at night, is your last thought “Wow! I really increased the sense of community on my site today”? If it is - good for you - enjoy waking up to your day job.

My last thought before I go to sleep is “Wow! I made $500 in a single day on the internet”

The advice of “don’t think about the money” is usually given by people who aren’t making any money and believe that it can’t be done. The only other people who give that advice are the A-listers who only say it so they don’t appear arrogant with their millions of dollars.

Be about the money. Be 110% about the money.

Have you ever heard of a successful businessman who advised others to “not think about the money“?

When someone comes out with a new way to make money for themselves, people always come out and say that it’s “evil”, “unethical” and that they “won’t do it”. They’re hobbyists that get excited by five cents per day on Adsense.

Having a website is the same as having a business. If you’re not 100% about the money, you’re a non-profit organization. If you have a non-profit site, why are you even thinking about making money?

There’s no such thing as ‘half-monetized’.

There’s no middle-ground.
