Find The PageRank For Every Page On Your Site (and make money)

When a Google PageRank update occurs, it doesn’t just update your homepage URL but every page of your site too. Using the LivePR.info tool, you can check the PageRank for internal pages in your site and sort them from highest to lowest:

everypage.jpg

The internal pages on CashQuests didn’t get great rankings but sites like DoshDosh got a PR6 for the homepage and about 40 internal pages with PR5.

How does this help you make money online?

Google would frown upon it (and I would never do it) but I’ve heard of some unscrupulous webmasters who sell permanent links from these high PR pages for hundreds of dollars.

A little birdie told me that to avoid being detected by Google, many of these webmasters don’t advertise the sales on their site but advertise them via the link sales section on Digital Point forums and only reveal the URL through private messaging.

Many of these webmasters may also create an extra forum account not associated with their main site to facilitate these “black hat” sales.

There is also a rumor that by having the links form part of the post instead of just being attached to the end of the article means that they can pretty much avoid any part of the Google algorithm that detects link sales and double the price they charge.

Disclaimer (Dear Google…)

Remember, I’d never do it and many prolific bloggers will tell you that you should forget about PageRank if you want to make money.

Great post. I wouldn’t do this either, but it’s good to know that there’s a tool out there to check internal PR quickly.

What would your DP name be?
I have a site with higher PR on the internal pages than the home page. I need to see how I goofed up on the linking there.

by James - DigitalKeyToInfo

Yup, something that struck me earlier to be honest - but like you say, I’d never do it! ;)

Just to clarify though - DP bans members who have multiple accounts, they ban both the accounts, so you want to be careful to use the accounts from different IPs.

And no, I only have one account!

That’s an interesting tool. I still don’t really get PageRank. I ran the query on my blog and my home page is PR4, I have one internal page at PR2 and all the rest are PR0. What does that mean?

by Caroline Middlebrook

 Google does it again, congratulations Kumiko on your new PR….i got a PR 2 myself but am not complaining…

well yes,i have seen webmasters who sell their pagerank like hot cakes because of the high rank. But i do not like this kind of what i call ”unnatural” linkback if i am to choose.I prefer the good old ”natural” linkback like what i did for my blog.

I just try to my blog but confused..

What an awesome tool, not only for checking your own sites, but checking the depth of potential advertising venues as well.

by Lars-Christian

It’s really anoying, my home page is 3 but I have an internal page of 4 but I’m listed on PPP as 3.

maybe its because I don’t know much about it, but i don’t even worry about pagerank

 great tool and again congrats on the pr5

cool tool - One of my post is PR4 - while the rest is PR0 - funny - since it only been around a month. That post was a bit of linkbait - and it must have worked!

i think that sometimes the internal pages are important too.mine has like on average a Pagerank 2-3 in over 20 pages and it shows the consistency there.thats why i was awarded a pagerank 5

Thanks for sharing the helpful tool, Kumiko. It really makes no sense. My most popular post which got the most backlinks got a PR0, and some of my posts which hardly got any comments and no backlinks got PR2. Only one of posts got the same PR as my blog. I didn’t do too good with the internal PR’s to be honest with you - but I’m going to work a lot harder on getting backlinks for when the next update comes around. Let’s hope it doesn’t take as long as this one did! :)

Thanks for the great tool. If not of this tool, I didn’t even know that my About page has a PR4 which is the same as my home page PR.

Thanks for the tool. I found it very useful. As for selling page ranks, etc. I am still only a page rank 3 first off, and we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks what google can unleash if they so desire.

I wonder if we make ourselves slaves to these things?

Like Page rank.

Kumiko,

That’s an interesting tool. I tried it on one of my sites and found some interesting results. Surprisingly, some of my comment sections had PR.
