Google Adsense Expanding For Parked Domains
Google has many times in the past stood at the line between ‘crafty’, and ‘unethical’. People love their search engine so much, that generally it really doesn’t matter who the people are that do think some of their practices are unethical.
Google’s latest news is one of those ideas, depending on your business practices could be deemed right or wrong.
The story originated from Google’s Adsense blog when they made the announcement, “Many publishers have approached us looking for a way to monetize their domains, and today, we’re excited to announce the expansion of AdSense for domains. This product allows publishers to earn revenue through ads placed on undeveloped domains.”
If you go to DonkeyShow.com (can’t believe that hasn’t been developed) then you’ll get an idea of what kind of site they are talking about.
For those who are continually looking for new ways to monetize their online ventures, now might be the time to strike. Domain squatting has always been a tricky affair, as you’re betting on what’s going to be popular down the road. While squatting these domains, you now have an option to at least make some money in the process.
For those who register domains in order to get “accidental” visits, this is good news as well.
The big question though is; is it right? Google has for the most part fallen on the side of trying to provide quality sites to its users. In turn making the internet a better place for people to access information.
How does allowing owners of undeveloped sites to make money help internet users with their experience? While it might not be unethical, it certainly does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Or it could just be the goat cheese.

I don’t care for this. I absolutely hate when I have a great Idea for a website and the appropriate domain is just sitting with a landing page.
What a waste.. and now Google is encouraging it.

I remember when google were banning webmasters for making a MFA (made for adsense) sites. Now Google realized that they is business in that and want to join.

I’m going to be trying out google adsense parking as soon as my subsription runs out at godaddy cash parking. I was taking a look at google’s example page and really like how they made it look just like thier search results. I don’t make much on cash parking, but i’m sure the layout of google’s parking is going to incrase my revenues.
