Helping Shoemoney Make Money Online

Shoemoney may have recently sold his AuctionAds advertising network for a few million dollars, but it looks like he still needs a little help when it comes to making money with a blog. He should try reading Cash Quests a little more often!

Just hours after posting on Cash Quests that all guest bloggers must die because the content that guest bloggers provide is “profit-reducingly awful“, Shoemoney made the announcement that he was going away for a few days and looking for some guest bloggers:

If you’re like me, your instant reaction would have been:

  • Nothing worthwhile reading on Shoemoney.com next week and
  • This will benefit Shoemoney and the guest-blogger but not the readers of Shoemoney.com

Naturally, I considered writing a guest post as it would be of benefit to me, but I quickly realized that if I wrote anything decent that I’d rather save it exclusively for the readers of Cash Quests. Obviously a lot of other bloggers had this thought and one decided to not even try to be good and completely copied an article from a book.

It feels so good to be proven right:

Credit to Shoemoney for catching it, but only doing so after it has been published isn’t really the best way to run a profitable blog.

Posts that are guest-blogged are 90% garbage and written by self-serving amateurs whose only interest is driving traffic to a site that doesn’t have any readers because the content is 100% garbage.

Not wanting to be accused of bias, lets see what the guest-blogger in question had to say so that you can judge for yourself the professionalism of the writers that you’re dealing with when you accept guest posts:

Don’t worry Shoemoney, we still love you at Cash Quests and we’ll always be here if you need some help or advice in your quest to make money online! xo
