Here’s Who Pays The Bills - And They Got Skillz!
Ask any blog reader who pays the bills for a blog and they’ll say the readers. Ask any blog owner who pays the bills and they’ll give you the true answer – the advertisers! Of course there wouldn’t be advertisers without readers, but it’s much easier to get new readers than to get new advertisers!
So let’s take a closer look at these wonderful supporters of CashQuests.com who help to bring you hardcore content about how to make money online:
Darin.cc – Darin was previously reviewed here and is the prime supporter of CashQuests. He brings you all the info that you need about Search Engine Marketing, SEO and online advertising and there aren’t many blogs out there that Darin doesn’t advertise on, so it’s a sure bet that he knows what he’s talking about. Darin has written some great series of posts regarding PPC marketing and SEM that are a worthwhile read if you’re getting started in the game or looking to pick up a few more tips.
The writing style on Darin.cc has notably improved in recent times and it has become a blog that I really enjoy reading. Seeing the business side of the internet from the perspective of someone who is involved in it professionally is a privilege that money can’t buy.
Darin recently had a little drama with his site after his unique blog theme (a brilliant Nate Whitehill creation) was ripped off by a pathetic individual who paid a freelance coder to copy the theme. What the copycat didn’t realize was the extent of Darin’s network of contacts and that lowlife can pretty much kiss goodbye to ever getting another link from any site worth mentioning.
1 Cool File - I like the site just for the cute dog logo but 1 Cool File is actually a paid directory where theme designers, plugin coders, and shareware developers can submit their creation to a category and reach thousands of potential customers. The site also allows bloggers to submit their site too which makes it a cool way to promote and market your blog.
On top of that, it’s also quite a useful directory to have a browse through as you can find some quite unique and rare creations on the site.
You may think that paid directories aren’t worth it but the truth of the matter is that by being a paid directory, only serious and professional individuals submit their work which makes it of a much higher quality than other free directories. You wouldn’t pay to submit your blog if you only updated it once per month!
But it’s more than just a directory! The site can also help you to make money online due to it’s affiliate program where you can money by referring people to the directory. I haven’t had a chance to delve deep into how the affiliate program works yet but it is definitely something that I’m planning on checking out.
WootAgent - Before DealDotCom, there was Woot. For those unfamiliar with either site, Woot is the site where they offer a limited number of a single product at a remarkably reduced price. They have really cheap products on offer at much lower prices than you’ll find anywhere else, but you have to be in quick if you want to get one – they sell out fast!
WootAgent helps you out by having a window instantly pop up on your screen whenever there is a new product on Woot, when an item is running out or whenever a product is sold out. On top of all that, WootAgent will also give you the product description and a picture of it.
What I love about WootAgent is that it will use different search engines to actively seek out comparison prices so that you can see if the offer on Woot really is the best deal available. That makes it one of the best resources for finding a product at the cheapest price available online.
For those who like to purchase internet marketing products and resources, the owner of WootAgent is working on a similar product for DealDotCom. When that is released, I predict that it’s going to get a lot of downloads!
F1 Wolf - Hailing from Hong Kong, F1 Wolf covers the topic of – you guessed it – Formula One racing. Despite a Hong Kong residence, the owner still manages to attend quite a few F1 races each year and brings back hundreds of photos of the spectacle for you to enjoy.
While the site is mainly focused upon F1, there are some other series covered too and the site posts race previews which are followed by race results after the event.
The site also runs a season long prediction game where you win by predicting the 1st to 8th placed driver plus the fastest lap driver for each race. Unlike most competitions online, you don’t win money. You get champagne!! I’m not sure what the logistics are of sending a bottle of champagne around the world, but if I win I think I’ll have to shake it up and spray it on a few of my favorite fans just like the F1 drivers do.
If you’re interested in Formula One and looking for a blog that covers the seasons in detail while providing a sense of community and interaction, F1 Wolf is one of the best places to check out. And any site that gives you champagne will never be bad!
NoAPRcreditcards - You can’t be involved in business these days without a credit card. If you’re like me, you’re probably paying around 20% credit card interest which is eating into your savings and helping the banks get richer while you get poorer! If you’re carrying a balance of $10,000 on your card – you’re giving the bank $2000 a year! There must be a better way!
Luckily, NoAPRcreditcards is on the case and they’ve got a whole list of cards where you’ll pay just 0% interest without any application fees. Not only that, but you’ll be approved or rejected instantly so you don’t have to wait around for a response.
The site deals with the leading institutions and has cards from Citibank, Chase, American Express and Discover. With most cards offering 0% interest for 12-18 months, switching from your existing credit card to one of these cards could end up saving you thousands of dollars.
I’m a firm believer that saving money is just as good as making money so this is definitely an option that you should check out. With the money that you save, you’ll be able to invest more of your income into promoting your online businesses or other internet ventures!
WebAppers - With 2,700+ subscribers, WebAppers is a pretty hot destination at the moment. It’s a rather under-publicized site but for the lucky select few that have discovered it, there are some high quality resources and applications for web developers available there….and they’re FREE!!
I’m a huge fan of integrating graphics and color into my posts whenever practical in order to avoid “walls of text†and WebAppers has introduced me to some cool ways to improve my sites and make them look really pro.
There is always a lot of focus when making sites on writing “quality content†and how “content is king†but there is often so much “quality content†in my RSS reader that it often just takes a little unique image to make one post stand out more than the others.
Standing out and being remarkable is one of the keys to making money online!
A lot of the posts on WebAppers are introductions to other sites and packages but it’s a “must read†for all serious web developers and I’ve seen many CashQuests readers already over there checking it out. If you’re looking to add some bling to your site, you should really check out this great destination.
Blog Mastermind - If you want to make money blogging, joining Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind mentoring program could be thing for you. As Yaro states:
“I’ll Take You By the Hand and Teach You Step-by-Step Exactly What You Need To Know and Do To Create, Build and Grow Your Own Popular Blog That Consistently Pays You $1,000 to $5,000+ Every Single Month Whilst You Have Fun Working Just Two Hours a Day Simply Writing About Your Favorite Topics”
There are currently around 300 people involved in the programs and I’ve been fortunate enough to speak to some of them. All who I’ve spoken to have had positive reports about the program and are particularly positive about the level “hands on†support provided by Yaro.
The program aims to help you make money online and Yaro is one of the few bloggers that I trust to actually help you achieve this. The biggest selling point for me on the site is that if you don’t like it for any reason, simply let Yaro know within the first 30 days and he’ll refund your money. As a top blogger, his reputation is on the line with this program, so it is definitely in his interest to deliver the goods.

It’s always nice to thank to your sponsors, well done!
I have to disagree with your comment on directories:
“You may think that paid directories aren’t worth it but the truth of the matter is that by being a paid directory, only serious and professional individuals submit their work which makes it of a much higher quality than other free directories.”
I’m in the directory industry for nearly 3 years and I currently own 37 free, paid, free and paid, and bid for position web directories.
Believe me or not you will be surprised to find out how many crappy paid directories are out there and also there are some excellent free directory resources.
It’s really up to the owner and his editorial integrity as most of the paid editors list any crappy site just for a few dollars.
This of course does not aply to your sponsor. 1CoolFile looks very good
