Who Wants A PR8 Link From Google.com?
PR8 backlinks have never been easier! Or more expensive!
Despite Google asking webmasters to report paid links, it appears that Google themselves are selling links from their domain….kind of.
Here’s the hot tip! If you want to go through the back door and get these A-grade backlinks, all you have to do is purchase the Google mini and add your review of the product with a link to your site to their testimonials page. Easy! Instant PR8 backlink!
The price on the Google mini? A low $1995! Worth it? Not when you compare it to Ades and his free PR7 links! I think I’ll hold off on the purchase just now…I’m still trying just to get the site indexed!

Have you checked the PR of http://www.adesblog.com/2007/06/11/free-pr7-links-giveaway-batch-10/
its Zero… not sure if you posted that as a joke?
All these linkback for a review things are con… ONLY the front page of the blog has high PR, after that you are left with the PR of the post which over time will get some PR of its own… but nowhere near the level of the front page.
Then divide the PR of the post by the number of links on the page and you have your benefit… in this case there are maybe 50 links on a page inc. sidebars etc…
Yet another example of an established blog taking advantage of inexperienced noobs…

The post is 0, but the post is featured on the home page (which is a 7).
Other than that, I totally agree. I don’t like these “Review me for a PR7 Backlink”, and it’s something I’d never do, as the target benefits more than you ever will.
by Rhys
No… its not on the homepage, I am sure it was on the homepage for a day or two…. maybe the title of the post should read
“get 2% of a PR7 backlink for 48 hours”
by Jez
When I said “on the home page”, that’s what I meant. Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear, I’ve been drinking
by Rhys
If the front page is a PR7 and your link is on the front page then it’s a PR7 backlink.

For two or three days, then it drops off the front page…. duping the noobs is what review for a linkback is all about…. duping the noobs

already read the Matt’s post before,
and notice you have change the sponsor links as ”Super Sites”, nice words. : )
It should be clear from Google’s stance on paid text links, but if you are blogging and being paid by services like Pay Per Post, ReviewMe, or SponsoredReviews, links in those paid-for posts should be made in a way that doesn’t affect search engines.
and is it fair? what is the different with ”buy links/sell links”?
you and i also have money,i choose buy a textlinks directly and you choose to pay someone for a ReviewMe post with some links inside.
by Wallace
The ‘paid links’ fiasco won’t work. All the reporting does is help them change their algorithm for detecting paid links - it doesn’t get your site blacklisted. Just by using smart linking, you should be able to avoid the algorithm’s detection.

Any publicity is good publicity… I’m going to sell my sole for backlinks. Or drink gallons of milk for each link I get.

What do you mean by “… [you’re] still trying just to get the site indexed”. Isn’t cashquests.com already indexed by Google? I did a search for “kumiko” this morning and cashquests.com came up as the fifth result.

I do agree with the commentor above… any publicity is good publicity! But yes… most review things for certain PR’d pages are a scam, because it won’t remain on the front page forever.

uhh $1995, i won’t pay google taht much money. Rather i would pay for directories.. that’s lot for PR link..
by Eliena
Screw the PR, I’ll take the publicity and traffic that comes with being listed on the blog’s homepage! (even if it’s just for a day)
