Having Lunch With Problogger
Matt, the winner of my Free Tickets to the Future of Online Advertising conference competition, attended the conference last weekend and posted about the event on his site.
Matt won the competition with his entry detailing how he would like the $995 ticket in order to network with other bloggers:
“Assuming I make no greater amount of money from that which I gain from the conference, the potential contacts I make at the event will put me head and shoulders ahead of competitors. As Darren has been speaking more frequently about group blogs, and group based websites, the value of good contacts seem only to have risen.”
And what happened? He ended up having lunch with Problogger Darren Rowse himself and got mentioned on the site!!
Let’s just put this post in the “I really will help you make money online” category!

On one hand the networking in-person is great and probably will help to learn something, on the other hand $1000 can be spent on AdWords and bring in about 10,000 visitors
