Make Money Online With Bidvertiser

We recently ran with Bidvertiser advertising on CashQuests.com and a number of other sites in an effort to make money online and research how well the advertising network performs.

Results are in!

Click-through-rate: 0.03%

As Bidvertiser advertising is not contextual but based upon a chosen category, the click-through-rate (CTR) sat a little lower than Google Adsense at around 0.03%.

It could be argued that the CTR depends a lot on the placement of the ads or the audience and this is quite a valid argument. However, as all ads were displayed in prime locations (under the header and sidebars) and blended with site colors, it would seem that 0.03% is an overall accurate measure of the CTR.

It remained consistent at this level across a number of sites and in different categories. Naturally, it would be better to see a higher CTR and this could probably be achieved by testing the ads in different positions over a longer time period.

Earnings per click: $0.23

While some categories were earning up to $0.27 per click, other categories averaged just $0.12 and across all sites the average was $0.23.

Advertising in the financial categories appeared to have the highest paying ads while advertising in the “internet-related” categories paid the lowest. The great thing about Bidvertiser is that you can see how much each ad pays.

Overall, the earnings per click were reasonable and consistent with similar advertising networks. However, it is crucial to have your site listed in the correct “high-paying” category if you wish to maximize your earnings.

Difficulty level: Very easy

Bidvertiser was incredibly easy to setup and install and did not come with the strict guidelines and requirements of Google Adsense. This made running the advertising a breeze as there was little concern as to where the advertising was placed and what methods were used to generate clicks.

After completing the sign-up form, approval was instant and money was earned on the first day!

Suited for: Some

Overall, the 20 days running Bidvertiser resulted in close to $20 being made on each site which leads to the conclusion that you could be better off selling your advertising space to a third-party rather than run Bidvertiser. There is little doubt that many of the advertising spaces that were used to display Bidvertiser could easily have earned twice as much through direct selling to advertisers.

However, if you have empty advertising space that you can’t sell or you have not been accepted by Google Adsense, it would be a smart move to run Bidvertiser due to their ease of use and reasonable payouts.

If you run a smaller site that would struggle to meet the $100 minimum for Adsense payouts, Bidvertiser is a fantastic option due to their great $10 minimum payout through Paypal.
