Why don’t I start by saying, check out the site that iEntry recently purchased called FamousDeadDB. It’s a database listing famous people that have died and is updated rapidly as people pass away.

There is still a whole lot of work to be done on it, but it has already made great strides from what it was when it was purchased.

It is actually a fascinating site to learn a lot of interesting information about people who have passed away, and actually a good place to find out that people are dead when you didn’t even know they were. For example, many people have found it to be a surprise that Johnathan Brandis was dead until they saw his listing on FamousDeadDB. I personally didn’t know before FamousDeadDB, that Dudley Moore was dead, but come to find out, he’s been that way for years.

Another nice feature is that the site has comments set up for each person in the form of guestbooks where fans can express their feelings about the stars that they loved and miss. It serves as a tribute to some and has an encyclopedia to others.

Anyway, that was me shamelessly promoting one of our sites on another one of our sites that is highly trafficked. Now all of you have heard of FamousDeadDB. Some will check it out, and some will, but either way, awareness has been spread, which can contribute to the further success of that site. It really is worth checking out though. Even if I didn’t work here, I’d find it very interesting.
