After reading this post, I guarantee that you will never have anything remotely resembling an affiliate link on your site again!

In a recent post helping you to make money online, I discussed how to do a .php redirect with your affiliate links so that a link that looks like this:

http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/index.html?ref=cashid987

was transformed into a much friendlier (and less obvious):

http://www.cashquests.com/recommended/program.php

That technique is pretty awesome and it has become an extremely popular way to direct traffic to affiliate links without anyone suspecting that they’re being redirected.

However, it didn’t really work with those who knew the trick as they were able to instantly recognize any link ending in .php as being a disguised affiliate link.

Goodbye affiliate links

Taking the trick to the next level and completely hiding your affiliate links involves using the same technique as before but instead of creating the (for example) ‘program.php‘ file, you create the redirect as an ‘index.php’ file and place it in a new directory.

For example, you could create a redirect to your Bidvertiser affiliate link in an index.php file and place that file in a new directory called http://www.cashquests.com/bidvertiser/

The index.php will automatically be read as the root of the directory which means that there is no reason to have the obvious .php file in the URL and that you can just link to the directory. The redirect is clean and hidden!

Nice knowing you

With this new strategy, it’s virtually impossible for someone to know or even suspect that they are being redirected to an affiliate link until they have clicked the link. And that’s exactly what you want!
