Are You Prepared For The Next Google PageRank Update?

I hope you’ve already started thinking about the next Google PageRank update!

Whenever Google decides to update it’s PageRank rankings on the Google Toolbar, there is always a mad frenzy across the internet as webmasters check and compare their updated rankings. The reason? There’s money in rank!

While many argue that Google PageRank is not a great measure of a site’s quality and that PageRank is easily manipulated, the fact remains that it definitely adds to a site’s value in terms of how much you can charge for reviews, link sales and how much you can eventually sell your site for!

The problem that most webmasters face is that they only start thinking about PageRank as it gets close to update time which is too late! If you want to get maximum value from your Google PageRank in the next update and make lots of money online, you need start today!

How to prepare for the PageRank update

I managed to take my previous domain from scratch to a PageRank 5 in just a few months and in the next update, my new domain is also predicted to get a PageRank 5. That means a LOT of money making opportunities!

While most bloggers will write that all you need to do is get lots of quality inbound links to your site, there a lot of things that you can do “on-site” now in order to prepare your site for the next update:

  • Get every page indexed: Often Google will assign a different PageRank to different pages on your site. This can work in your favor as you will be able to sell sponsored links on each of the high PR pages. The more pages that you have with great PageRank, the more links you can sell! Use Google Webmaster Tools to check how Google is indexing your site and why any pages haven’t been indexed.
  • Limit your unrelated links: Whether Google determines your site as being “quality” or not will depend a lot on the types of sites that you link to. If you have lots of unrelated links to splogs, Google isn’t going to give you a high PageRank. Make sure you’re only linking to related sites that don’t link to splogs themselves. Google doesn’t just check who you link to, but also to who they link to!
  • Buy great links: One of the best pieces of advice for getting a high PageRank is to get links from sites that already have a high PageRank. But that’s hard work! Instead, check out Digital Point Forums where you can buy high PageRank links at cheap prices! Just be sure to check that the sites don’t already have lots of outbound links and aren’t faking their PageRank!
  • Clean up your ad space: If you’ve sold a 12-month ad space on your site for $50, you’re in trouble! If you get a great PageRank, that ad space can be worth $50 per week! Now is the time to negotiate shorter contracts with your advertisers in order to make space for your new high-rolling advertisers!
  • Use profitable keywords on your site: Sites with great PageRank seem to rank a lot higher in the search engines than lower PageRank sites. By filling your site with a variety of different keywords related to your topic now, you’re ensuring that your site is in a prime position for great search engine rankings!

All of the above actions can be done easily and today!

Are you ready?

From the first day that this domain was registered, I’ve had a plan in place that aimed to give this domain at least a PageRank 5. Whether it gets it or not is anyone’s guess, but taking steps towards achieving it is a lot better than doing nothing and complaining later that you’ve missed the PageRank money train!
