Where is Your Demographic Spending it’s Time?
When advertising online, it pays to really evaluate the demographic you are trying to reach, and where they are spending their time online. It turns out that many women over 45 are playing online games, so if they are your demographic, take note.
Doug at WebProNews cites data from Dynamic Logic:
Dynamic Logic recorded a “Purchase Intent” figure of 3.7 for 18- to 34-year-olds. The number rose to 4.2 for women between the ages of 35 and 44, and reached 4.4 for women 45 and older. “Brand Favorability” was also appreciably higher among women in this last group.
I am immediately reminded of my Grandma (my Grandpa too for that matter) playing cards online on a daily basis. Dynamic Logic just may be on to something here.
