Win $30 Plus Prizes by Predicting My PageRank!

Update: THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSEDGoogle PageRank is updated approximately once every three months and considering that the last one was in January, the next one must be coming very soon! Here’s your chance to make money from it!

This competition is really simple:

All you have to do is a write a review of my site which contains a prediction of what my Google PageRank will be after the next update. If your prediction is correct and your review is judged to be the most creative, unique and original, you win!! Whether you have a big site or a smaller site, everybody will be judged equally.

What do you win?

The major prize is US$30 cash and in addition you’ll have the ‘money-can’t-buy’ opportunity to write a post on this site on any topic that you choose. You write it and I’ll publish it here! Imagine if I get a high PageRank - you’ll have the opportunity to fill your post with links to your own site and enjoy the benefits of being linked to from a highly ranked site.

How do you enter?

To get you started, you can learn more about Google PageRank here. You can also check out my current Alexa Ranking and Technorati Ranking.

Good luck!!

Good strategy to get links to your post. BTW, the pink Adsense looks very nice.

lol
at first i thought you were going to give $30 to every person that guessed your pagerank correctly
all i could think is that would have resulted in a major payout for you since there are tons of tools out there that accurately predict pagerank
but then i finished reading your article
this is a great idea of how to turn a competition into a way to get backlinks at the same time
i recently started a mybloglog contest that does something similar over at my site

I’ll keep track of how the pink adsense performs against the blue. The results will be interesting. I hope it performs better.

Novel idea Kumiko, I like it. I haven’t got the time to write a review so can’t enter your competition. I’ll just say for fun that I’m 90% sure you’ll get PR5 based on how this compares to other sites in the niche. Good luck girl.

Now that is a sneaky clever idea Kumiko,.. good one! The question isn’t really about guessing your pagerank (according to the free tool I use its going to be about the same as mine :D), but its more about the review… I may enter this, in a little while.

Kumiko, what an excellent idea and it has generated a substantial buzz. My prediction is a PR5. I’m about 95% sure that will happen based on your Technorati rankings.

Kumiko - I posted a review and PR prediction this morning. Hope you enjoy it and you can blame/thank Michael Kwan for giving me a reason to write it!

Hello nice to see this blog. I want guess your blog but I dont have paypal. Poor me…

Looks like Google is in the middle of the PageRank update, so you should be expecting something better than PR0 (that’s Pee Arr Zero, although it looks like pro, as in -fessional) pretty soon.

a good pagerank doesn’t mean that the page is good too…

Nice blog, very nice, many things caught the eye. I learnt a lot of things which you do write and have blogged about the same. Beware, your secret has been revealed.

by Basketer

Meeero - I know a PR doesn’t mean a site is good but a lot of companies use it to judge a site…which is probably wrong. Getting a good PR will simply enable me to join a lot of money making programs!

Basketer - And that secret would be…..???? Oh, it’s a secret!
