Writing Paid Reviews and Not Ticking Off Google
There’s been a lot of controversy in recent memory regarding writing paid reviews for making money online. The source of a good deal of this controversy is Google, who is strict on them because the way they affect search engine rankings.
Popular blogger Andy Beard seems to have found a loophole in this practice, however. He has theoretically found a way to not bother Google while continuing to make money off of writing paid reviews.
His strategy is to ban Google’s crawler from certain pages on his site, by making the proper adjustments to his robots.txt file.
“I have spent a long time deciding on a course of action, and have decided that blocking my content using Robots.txt is ultimately better for me, and better for people hiring my services,” says Beard.
This could turn out to be a popular strategy among people who prefer to make some income off of writing paid reviews.
