Zac Johnson - Genuine Super Affiliate
When I first read the blog headline “Make Money with Super Affiliate Zac Johnson†over on Zac Johnson’s blog, my first thought was that I’d visited the site of yet another blogger pretending to be a super marketing mastermind in order to sell a few e-books or scam a few naïve visitors. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof so for this ReviewMe review I began to dig a little deeper into the world of Zac Johnson and I discovered something that I really wasn’t expecting – he really is a super affiliate!
So who is Zac Johnson? You can’t review a personal blog without knowing the person behind it. Zac Johnson is an affiliate marketer who has been making money online for the past 10 years. In fact he’s been making a lot of money online. Zac started his career off while still in high school through pay-per-click advertising and getting in on the Amazon and Commission Junction affiliate programs right from the beginning. It’s always good to get in early and doing so meant that Zac was selling up to $100,000 in goods for Amazon and collecting a nice commission from them. As the internet boomed, so did his income.
From affiliate marketing, Zac moved into the e-mail opt-in world and started working with Postmaster Direct to gather subscribers for their numeous newsletters. This started earning him a six-figure income and with a growing number of sites under his belt, Zac formed what was to become the internet marketing company, MoneyReign, Inc. MoneyReign promotes itself as being one of the leaders in the e-card market which enables it to collect users sign-up and contact information which can be used for targeted offers. For Zac, the money is obviously in “the listâ€.
MoneyReign is now a seven-figure company and Zac has decided to turn his hand to blogging in order to share some of his experiences and ideas on making money online.
As a blogger…he’s a great internet marketer
Zac Johnson’s blog is only a couple of months old but there’s the potential of it becoming one of the big blogs in the future. As a blogger, Zac has something that a lot of blogger’s wish they had - credibility. He is not somebody that has just appeared on the scene, but is somebody who has already established himself as an online money-maker and he’s even appeared in various print magazines as proof.

On the internet, established credibility in an online business has the potential to make you a lot of money as a blogger. People want to know how to make money online and are instantly attracted to those who have succeeded in doing so. Shoemoney’s success is the epitomy of this and perhaps Zac’s inspiration for starting a blog.
The first thing that I immediately liked about his blog was the great template. With a cartoon of himself included, Zac’s template is orginal, colorful and very content-focused. Zac has obviously done his homework with the site as he’s decided not to display any advertising, which gives it a very “clean†feel. In the early stages, this will only benefit his blog as it will put the focus directly on to his content – which is what keeps readers coming back and will help his blog grow.
With Zac’s blog only being two months old and having around 20 posts, it didn’t take long to read the entire site and after I’d finished I was left with the rare feeling (for me at least) of being neither positive or negative about the site.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I felt that a lot of the posts were either there to post affiliate links or because somebody had paid for them to be there. For example, a recent post entitled “Make Money with High Yield Savings Accounts†listed a number of banks and what interest rates they had on offer. It instantly felt like a post that would have an affiliate link…but there wasn’t one. That made me assume that the post had been paid for…but that wasn’t disclosed. That left me feeling that while Zac is fantastic at affiliate marketing, as a blogger he really needs to inject a bit more of himself into the site. For me, the posts lacked a lot of ‘personality’ and ‘passion’ to them and read more like sterile financial reviews than blog posts.
I’d really love to read about Zac’s adventures and experience in the internet marketing world and what advice he can give others. This is his niche and his hook and what will attract the most readers to his site - not how the Dow Market is performing.
Whether Zac Johnson will be the next Shoemoney is anyone’s guess, but for now at least, he’s a super amazing affiliate marketer who just happens to have a blog.
